Ride through epic landscapes on pure gravel trails through the mountains of Monchique, then feel the ocean spray on your skin along the coastal paths. Fall under the spell of southern Portugal - welcome to the Algarve!
Aurora Portugal offers you the ultimate gravel experience, access to a true paradise for gravel lovers and the good life, all included without having to worry about a thing!
So, are you ready to make your gravel dreams come true?
This 5-day gravel adventure includes a prologue, followed by 4 stages, including a queen stage where you'll discover the meaning of the word Aurora. Our trails will take you through the heart of the Algarve, from wild tracks to the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean, with the same central starting point every day.
In the evening, enjoy a drink with your riding buddies and celebrate the heroes of the day. Great vibes, unforgettable memories!

The genesis Chapter 1: Envy Offering new gravel events. In the mind of Julien Bouille, the founder, the concept is clear and he has no doubts. He's determined to create the best gravel-racing experiences in dream destinations, and to share the pleasure of his experiences with customers of all backgrounds and abilities. Chapter 2: The obvious Why Aurora? The word "Aurora" comes from Latin and means "dawn". According to Julien, dawn is the most magical moment of the day for us enthusiastic cyclists, the moment that marks the start of a new adventure. Chapter 3: Surround yourself A project of this scale requires a great deal of strength and a wide range of skills. Julien quickly decided to surround himself with the most experienced people in the field to ensure the success of the Aurora series. Chapter 4: Vibrate To live experiences and remember them forever. To live each day to the full and share it with you. That's what our events are all about! Chapter 5: Converting Finally, to show that cycling is a great way to travel and bring people together. And what better way to do this than on a gravel bike!
