About this event

The Expanded Day of the Tread Boneshaker Gravel Grinder will not be timed. All Routes will be Ride with GPS supported. All routes leave the Sawmill District and soon enter the Bosque – the Cottonwood Forest that borders the Rio Grande. Albuquerque Bosque Trail and its system of single track trails meanders through the unique habitat providing a quality ride during the fall color display. The longer route wraps up into the Sandia Mountain Foothills.

Bosque Boneshaker Gravel Grinder

Day of the Tread is New Mexico's largest cycling event, now in its 20th year. The addition of the Bosque Boneshaker Gravel Grinder has been huge. Riders have options ranging from 8 miles to 73 miles, and will ride along the Rio Grande and up into the Sandia Mountain foothills. Fall in New Mexico is by far the best season for cycling.
