Slick 6 Bike
Do want to ride with your little one at 8:30 AM before the other races start at 10 AM?

Or are you newer to the sport and want to dip your toe into the waters of gravel adventure?  
You are in luck because the Slick 6 Bike starts at 8:30 AM. The Slick 6ish Bike takes place on a lot of gravel roads and uses the same roads as the Slick 6 Run. The Slick 6 Bike starts at 8:30 AM in downtown Saranac and takes you slightly up to wooded forests and really hard packed gravel. You will hit a few hills on Ivan on your way back to town. It will be amazing!

Slick 6 Run (10K)
We want to share the Dirty 30 love and bring runners and cyclists together on race day! Gravel adventures are fantastic on foot!  

The newly designed Slick 6 Run course takes place on a lot of gravel roads and uses the same roads as the Slick 6 Bike. The Slick 6 Run starts at 8:15 AM just outside of town on Parsonage on a GRAVEL road! You'll be running through wooded forests and really hard packed gravel. You will hit a few hills on Ivan and then make your way back to downtown. Runners should run on the left hand side against vehicular traffic. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you.

The Unclean 16 is a perfect course for all levels of riders. The first part of the course meanders east through open farmland with picturesque barns sure to bring great joy to every rider. As the course heads back west, the course becomes more wooded. Riders will cross a babbling brook before a slight increase in elevation brings you to the top of a road where you then head north, enjoying a downhill ride all the way back to Saranac to the finish.   

The Unclean 16 is part of the Michigan Gravel Race Series (MGRS) and designated as the Mini Course.

Dirty 30
Our most popular event by far, the Dirty 30 will test even the most seasoned rider. If Ivan the Terrible doesn't put the hurt on you, we need to come up with a more challenging hill!
The Dirty 30 follows the Unclean 16 course, through serene and peaceful farmland, with 14 miles of added gravelicous ups, downs and flats that will take your breath away.

The Dirty 30 is part of the Michigan Gravel Race Series (MGRS) and designated as the Short Course. Tandems are only eligible for prizes if they race in the Dirty 30.

Filthy 50
The Filthy 50 was added in 2019 and it is becoming quite the popular course due to it's remoteness and grittyness. When we first explored the 20 mile branch, dogs weren't sure how to react to cyclists (some still don't react). The smell of manure really, really close brought back memories of my time in the Alps. The course will also take you through a tunnel underneath Interstate 96. There are some very talented artists that decorated the tunnel, so be sure to check this bonus feature out! So in short, this course will probably take you to places your GPS won't go to voluntarily. It's worth every minute of it though!  After you hop back onto the 30 mile route, Ivan the Terrible will be waiting to see what you are made of!

XDirty 130
The XDirty 130 course is simply amazing. Pristine woods, amazing river views and kids' bikes strewn in the middle of the road. These are just a few of the sights you may see on this gravel adventure of a lifetime. 

We can't thank Matt Acker enough for his in depth knowledge of everything gravel. Matt was quite involved in the Dirty X130 course design. Thank you for being so awesome and gracious Matt!

In a time not so long ago, during the 1840's, Saranac lumberjacks felled trees with grit and determination using hand tools. The monster trees were delivered to a saw mill in Saranac, MI, where the wood was cut for the furniture and construction industry.

Don't think you can finish the XDirty 130 in 9 hours? Have no fear, you won't leave without something! Finishing this beast of a course is a huge accomplishment and reason to celebrate. Riders that take longer than 9 hours to finish will still take some finisher bling home to reward them for their hard earned day in the saddle.

The XDirty130 is part of the Michigan Gravel Race Series (MGRS) and designated as the Ultra Course.
