Dirty Hector

The Dirty Hector 2024 
This race is the reincarnation of the beloved NatiFo Forty (2018-2022). 
The new race course winds its way through, around, up, down, and across the best trails, cow fields, creeks, mud, forests, dirt, and gravel roads that Hector and the Finger Lakes National Forest have to offer. 
The roughly 40 mile race with about 3500' of elevation gain will start and finish at Silver Queen Farm. 
Mass start at 11am. Open Men's, Women's, and Masters categories all start together.
There will be one aid station at about the halfway point with water and Flow Formulas electrolyte/race mix available.
Course will be marked with signage but GPS and downloaded route is HIGHLY recommended due to poor reception throughout the route. Roads are open and we will have marshals at busier intersections.
This is not a gravel "road race"! In addition to beautiful NY dirt roads, you can expect some technical trail, mud, grass, water crossings, fence crossings....think gravel meets cyclocross...with lots of hills. 
Prizes (3-deep for each category) beer and ice cream at the farm post-race!
