About this event

Dirty Sheets Gravel Weekend
Race Day: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Dirty Sheets Gravel returns in 2026 for its sixth year, bringing riders back to Chattahoochee Hills for a full weekend of gravel, camping, music, food, firepits, friends and one very honest day on the bike.

Now in its second year starting and finishing at Wildflower Meadow in Serenbe, Dirty Sheets has settled into the place it always felt like it belonged — rolling countryside, quiet dirt roads, big views and a setting that feels a world away while still being just outside Atlanta.

The ride is Saturday.

The weekend is Dirty Sheets.

Race Day: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Saturday is the main event.

Dirty Sheets brings the hard course, fast gravel, rude rollers, timed racing, category competition, custom trophies and a full day of riding through some of the best terrain south of Atlanta.

Whether you’re chasing the podium, racing your friends, testing the legs or just trying to make it back with a decent story, Dirty Sheets gives you a route worth showing up for.

A Southern Gravel Classic

Long before it became an event, these roads already had a reputation.

Road riders have long talked about a nearby stretch of smooth, rolling pavement known as Silk Sheets. But just beyond it sits a web of gravel — rougher, wilder and far more memorable.

Locals started calling those roads Dirty Sheets, and the name stuck.

That same character defines the event today:

Challenging without being punishing, social without being soft, and rooted deeply in place.

Expect punchy climbs, rolling farm roads, shaded corridors, wide-open views and surfaces that reward smart riding. This is gravel that asks something of you — and gives plenty back in return.

Choose Your Route

Dirty Sheets offers three ways to take your medicine.

100-Mile Gravel

The full-strength version. A proper gravel century through Chattahoochee Hills with long, honest miles, elevation that sneaks up on you and terrain that demands attention. This is the big day for riders who want the full Dirty Sheets experience.

62-Mile Metric

The sweet spot for many riders. Enough distance to feel epic, enough punch to keep it interesting and a route that delivers plenty of gravel, scenery and race-day grit without taking your entire soul with it.

22-Mile Dirty Sheets Loop

A no-pressure, high-reward option that captures the spirit of the course without the all-day commitment. Ideal for newer gravel riders, friends, family and anyone here for the vibe as much as the ride.

Each route blends gravel, quiet pavement and just enough surprise to keep things honest.

A Full Weekend on Purpose

Dirty Sheets has grown beyond a single day on the bike. What began as a ride is now a full gravel weekend, built for riders who want more than a start line, a finish chute and a drive home.

Come for the weekend. Stay for the ride.

Thursday & Friday: Arrive and Unwind
  • Early packet pickup
  • Camping and basecamp setup
  • Food, drinks and firepit conversations
  • A relaxed Friday shakeout ride to preview the terrain and meet fellow riders
No rush. No stress. Just time to settle in and let the weekend do what weekends are supposed to do.

Saturday: Race/Ride Day

Saturday has teeth.

After the ride, roll straight into a laid-back post-ride gathering:
  • A proper meal with meat and vegetarian options
  • Cold drinks
  • Live music
  • Raffles, giveaways and space to stretch out
This is where the stories start — and usually get better as the night goes on.

Sunday: Coffee & One Last Spin

An easy morning ride, coffee in hand and one last roll through Chattahoochee Hills before heading home.

Because the best weekends deserve a soft landing.

Awards With Character

The 100- and 62-mile routes are fully timed, with podiums and category awards.

Winners take home hand-crafted ceramic trophies, made locally — each one unique, imperfect and earned.

The 22-mile route is untimed and all about enjoying the day.
