Far Out Gravel #1 by Thank Gravel It's Friday

Join Thank Gravel It's Friday and Ostroy for the Far Out Gravel Adventure Series, a set of two gnarly gravel rides into the mountains of Boulder Colorado. Each ride will be around 60-80 miles with 7-9,000+ ft of elevation, plenty of dirt, technical single track, hike-a-bikes and steep rocky climbs... a far out ride not for the faint of heart. Reach all 5 checkpoints during each ride and collect your pages throughout the day to win a prize for finishing. When you register, you will receive a number the day before the ride. Don't forget your number, you will use it to collect your pages.

The first ride kicks off on Saturday June 29th with the second ride in the series about 5 weeks later on Saturday, August 3rd. Each ride will be a little bigger, a little gnarlier and a little more fun. The route and ride details will be sent to all participants the day before each ride. Meet at Sanitas Brewing at 8:30am, roll at 9am. We'll have a neutral roll out to the first climb. From there, you can ride at your own pace to train for the next race or chill with friends, and finish the challenge on your own time. Each checkpoint will be indicated on the route, and when you arrive to each check point, you must find the book and rip out the page that corresponds with your number. Don't loose the page, you'll drop off all your pages at Sanitas after each ride.

Our friends at Ostroy will have an aid station at one of the checkpoints on each ride supported by Skratch Labs. There will also be a checkpoint at the Gold Hill Store on each ride and we encourage supporting them, you will be happy they are there once you arrive. We HIGHLY recommend tires 42mm or larger for these rides.

Rock your best 80s attire; neon, leg warmers, mesh, and mullets... Don't worry, nobody is going to win for going the fastest, you will only be rewarded for looking the coolest.
