Fiorino Mud
Firenze, Italy · Cykeln Team
About this event
Just like in the very first edition, the heart of the adventure beats again in Florence: start and finish at the legendary Società Canottieri Firenze, overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, one of the most iconic and breathtaking settings a gravel adventure could ever offer.
There is a place in Florence where the river, history and cycling come together in a way no other city in the world could replicate. It is the Società Canottieri Firenze, nestled along the Arno just steps from the Ponte Vecchio: our start line, our finish line, the beating heart of Fiorino Mud 2026.
Setting off from here is a privilege. Coming back here, after 400 km of Tuscan gravel, mud, climbs and wonder, is something you will never forget.
In 2026 Fiorino Mud returns to its purest form: no short options, no compromise, only the most adventurous distance. The 400 km is the one and only protagonist. Florence, the wildest Tuscany, the Maremma, the sea at PuntAla, and then back north, all the way to the heart of the city.
Fiorino Mud is a two-stage bike experience that offers logistical coordination along with a carefully selected, studied, and tested route. Fiorino Mud provides a GPS track and a web-based participant tracking service. Participants are required to have the previously provided track available on their devices. Information on how the system works will be provided via email and in the pre-race briefing.
Fiorino Mud includes two stages, the first one September 27 from Firenze to Puntala, the second one September 28 from Puntala to Firenze. During the Fiorino Mud, the highway code must be respected. Paths, roads and the interior of towns are open to traffic.
Fiorino Mud is not a cycling race, nor is it a competition of any kind or a competitive event.
The GPS tracking service provided, however, creates a completion order for the bike experience based on time. This is intended solely to allow those who want to test their skills, including comparing them with previous editions.
On September 26th there will be a briefing where all the most important points of the adventure will be illustrated, the athletes will be welcomed in the structure of Società Canottieri Firenze. At the end of the first stage you will arrive in the welcoming structure of the PuntAla Camp & Resort from where you will leave for the second stage the next day.
400 km. Legendary elevation gain. Two days to find out what you’re made of.
Fiorino Mud 400 is not a race, it is an inner journey through the most beautiful region in Italy.
