GRUSK - Gravel Ride Up Spruce Knob

GRUSK is an adventure-cycling ride through the Monongahela National Forest to the highest peak in West Virginia…Spruce Knob! The ride travels gravel and dirt roads through some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the East.

In it’s 7th year, this 4-day event combines a bikepacking ride/race with a one-day gravel gran fondo to give every gravel adventurer a choice of 6 routes for the challenge they’re looking for.

The routes are designed to bring the riders across all routes and categories back to the amazing mountaintop venue to enjoy the food, drinks, live music and everyone’s epic stories.

We have a limited number of dorm bunks available, but nearly endless open-meadow primitive on-site camping. There are also some private rentals nearby and hotels to stay if camping isn't your thing. Check out our website at www.mountainrides.net for more info on lodging.
