The last stage is the shortest but not the easiest, and this is due to a special guest that you could not meet being in Fuegian land, that guest is the "wind". This stretch of about 90km is against the wind, but the good thing is at the finish line, where we will have a Patagonian barbecue waiting for you to be one of the finishers of the first edition of the KARUKINKA GRAVEL RACE.

98 km · ↗ 700 m · 100% gravel · $200 entry

etapa1

Stage 1 is the first impression of an unknown destination, we start from Villa Cameron with a favorable wind, which makes the more than 100 km through Fuegian gravel more bearable. A journey through the livestock and forestry history of the island, with a finish line in Lago Blanco, where we go from the Patagonian pampas and steppe to the first signs of the southern forests.

CAMPAMENTO CMT - PAMPA GUANACO

106 km · ↗ 1,800 m · 100% gravel · $200 entry

etapa3

Stage 3, the hardest and longest stage of this version. We depart from the beautiful Caleta María, where the "end of the road" is currently located, but that is momentary since the effort made by the Military Work Corps will soon give us the possibility of traveling to the end of the unexplored Isla Tierra del Fire. And we will be part of a link to this new section to then begin the return to Pampa Guanaco.

It then descends into the valley of Despreciado Lake. At its eastern end, the 33 km “La Paciencia” pedestrian trail begins, which, heading west, first follows the southern coast of that lake and then the route of the Sánchez River (north of the Valdivieso range) to La Paciencia Bay. , within the Admiralty.
