About this event

Join us for the 3rd Annual KowTown Gravel Bike Race in Kremmling, Colorado, a thrilling gravel cycling event through stunning Colorado mountain terrain. Choose from three distances: KTG 100 The Bull (100 miles), KTG 68 The Cow (68 miles), or KTG 28 The Calf (28 miles), with E-bike options for the Cow and Calf courses (non-timed, no prizes). Categories include Women, Men, Non-binary, and E-bikes, with age group rankings for easy result comparison. Enjoy a well-supported race with aid stations offering Tailwind hydration, water, and snacks, plus a festive finish at Kremmling Town Square with burgers, beer, live music, and family-friendly activities. Free camping, pre-race meals ($10 spaghetti dinner, $5 breakfast burrito), and post-race showers are included. Part of the course crosses BLM land, requiring environmental respect (no littering, use portable toilets). New route additions and direction changes are planned for 2025, pending BLM permits.

KowTown Gravel

Back for our forth year after an epic 2025, KowTown will offer 4 course distances with varying degrees of difficulty. Rave reviews about the routes, community involvement, and overall experience prodded us to deliver an even bigger and better event in 2026. New routes with more gravel are on deck, giving registrants another untapped and untamed gravel adventure. Whether you're a competitive racer, gravel grinder, or just want to wrangle friends and family for a memorable day on bikes, we welcome all to our backroads. E-bikes and hand bikes are welcome on the short course. The post-race party in Kremmling's Town Square finishes the day in grand fashion. Race day will be full of family fun in town park with a focus on activities for the kiddos.
