About this event

Come Lap The Lake with us in small-town Kansas, where the gravel is real, the lake views are worth the climb, and we take having fun just as seriously as we take the miles.

Choose your adventure with 50, 27.3, 13, 6 and 3-mile bike routes winding around beautiful Melvern Lake through rolling Kansas gravel, native prairie and some of our favorite backroads. Whether you’re coming to race, challenge yourself or just have one heck of a Saturday on your bike, there’s a distance for you.

And bring your people! Lap The Lake also offers a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K run/walk, so your running friends don’t have to sit this adventure out.

2026 is our 6th annual Lap The Lake, and this year’s theme is Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue. 🇺🇸

Come for the gravel. Stay for the whole darn adventure.

And if one adventure isn’t enough? Ride your miles, then stack the Ruck Recon Mission. 🎒🇺🇸 Because apparently one finish line just wasn’t enough for us. 😂
