MAMMOTH Endurance Gravel

Come and enjoy miles on miles of gravel around beautiful Wellsboro Pennsylvania and the PA Grand Canyon! We have a fresh new course for 2023, only a couple roads overlap from our 2022 course! This route is a BEAST!

The Full MAMMOTH course is 135 miles and roughly 14K ft. of elevation gain to challenge even the most advanced riders. For those looking to compete there will be STRAVA Segments emailed to partipants a few weeks before the event, the fastest overall time through these segments in addition to finishing the full course decides the winner. Those of you that choose to attempt the Full MAMMOTH will ride two separate 65 mile loops. Half Mammoth riders will just ride the 65 mile morning loop and be done at lunch. both loops begin and end at the same place in downtown Wellsboro. Roughly halfway through each 65 mile loop there will be an absolute banger of an aid station, we are working with additional local businesses to provide hearty food at aid stations this year, as well as the essentials. (Please keep in mind that there will be a support vehicle patrolling the course but carry what you need for approx. 35 mile stretches)

We try our best to mark the route but the safest option is to use a bicycle computer with navigation or a phone app like Komoot for navigation.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided for the Full MAMMOTH riders from our carefully selected local businesses.

Breakfast and Lunch is included for ALL riders with an option to purchase the dinner option at time of registration for the Half MAMMOTH riders. There will be vegan options available at all meals and aid stations.

All event day check in, meals, and after ride hang out will all be centralized around the tent constructed on the grass lot on the corner of Main St. and Central Ave. *THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE. PLEASE CONSIDER GETTING REG INSURANCE IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT WEATHER ETC.

It is best to book a room in downtown Wellsboro or grab a cabin from a nearby Air BNB or similar accomodations. There are also nearby campsites at Hills Creek State Park.
