About this event

We offer a fun and challenging ride through the beautiful backroads of the Meramec River Valley, primarily in Crawford County, Missouri, where around 60% of the county's roads are still gravel. Funds go back into improving the event and into the community through donations. All riders who register early enough get a t-shirt and sponsor swag!

Whatever You Want!!

This is a fun ride for people looking to get some experience on gravel and join the excitement of a mass rollout. No chip timing, do whatever you want once you leave the start line! Ride the 110, you do you!

The 25

26 mi · ↗ 1,700 ft · 80% gravel · $30 entry

The 26 mile route is a challenging, but short route for those who aren't ready to make the jump to a 50+. This route includes chip timing and awards are given to the top three overall finishers.

The Bear

54 mi · ↗ 4,400 ft · 85% gravel · $45 entry

This route is not for the faint of heart and is an absolutely beautiful ride with multiple river crossings, including a ride across the historic Birds Nest Bridge. Over 4,000 feet of elevation with 80%+ gravel (including some sandy stuff) makes it a serious undertaking. This route is chip timed. Awards for top three finishers in each category.

The Bear and his Balloon

110 mi · ↗ 10,000 ft · 75% gravel · $45 entry

This is the big one! The first half is the same as the 54, but with a couple of additional miles added on for good measure. Riders record anywhere from 9,000 to 11,000 feet of elevation. Multiple river crossings with rides through Crawford, Gasconade, and Franklin Counties. Riders get to enjoy the same ride across the historic Birds Nest Bridge. This route is chip timed and awards are available for the top three finishers in each category.
