Event organizer

Omaha Jackrabbit

Ann Gentle, working with route planner and former race organizer Scott Redd, revives the fun and challenging Omaha Jackrabbit for 2023. Ann's cycling experience is riding premium events at the very back of the pack. She's ridden primarily Midwestern events inlcuding GravelWorlds, MidSouth, Unbound, Solstice, Lazy Horse Gravel Grind, Flint Hills Gravel Ride, RAGBRAI, and Tour de Nebraska, along with more social rides such as Pedalers Jamboree, Goldenride, Homestead Trail Ride, and others. She believes there is room in gravel riding for everyone, and hopes to see many of her social and road-riding friends check out the "Gravel-Curious" 25-mile event that is part of the Omaha Jackrabbit for 2023. Outside of riding, Ann works for Union Pacific Railroad, is an MBA student at University of Nebraska-Omaha, writes fiction, and is a mother of 3. If she can convince teenagers to ride bikes, she can do anything.
