About this event

Come out to beautiful Geneva, Ohio on Sunday May 21 to ride in the second annual Red Eagle Gravel Grinder. Our three routes (12, 22.5 and 43 miles) all travel thru the quiet backroads of Ashtabula County. Riders can expect to travel over gravel, chip seal, dirt, maybe some mud and a bit of asphalt. All rides will be held in a Fondo format, they will be timed and results will be posted. However this is not a race. Ride as fast or slow as you want.

Rides start at 10:00 AM

After the ride stick around for a free beer, chili and good times.

Classic Route

Ride the beautiful quiet roads of Ashtabula County. Our rides begin at the Red Eagle Distillery in Geneva, Ohio. You will pass thru vineyards, farm lands, over gentle rolling hills and a Boy Scout camp. Riders can expect gravel, chip seal, dirt roads, a bit of off road and some asphalt.

Red Eagle Gravel Grinder

The Steven G Cancer Foundation is a non-profit which supports Adolescent and Young Adults as they journey through cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We also fund research which assists in the treatment of cancer in Young Adults and Adolescents. Our rides will be held on Sunday May 21, 2023 in Geneva, Ohio: 12 Mile Family Ride, 22.5 and 43 mile Gravel Grinders. The rides will be run in a FUNDO style, timed with results. However the events are rides not races. Please choose to ride as fast as you like. The rides travel thru scenic Ashtabula County, gentle rolling hills, vineyards, farms and most importantly quiet roads. About 55-60% of our rides are on gravel, chip seal and dirt roads. Come for the beautiful rides, stay for the beer and chili at the end the day.
