About this event

Come to beautiful Geneva, Ohio and ride in the Red Eagle Gravel Grinder. Our rides are on the quiet back roads of Ashtabula County. Riders will travel through vineyards, farms on gravel, dirt and chipseal roads, 60% of the ride is on gravel roads. Gravel, cyclocross, fat tire and mountain bikes are best suited for the rides. Road bikes are not suitable. All events are "Fondo" style events, timed with published results. However this is not a race. Helmets are mandatory for all riders. Come for the great rides and stay for the after party; beer, chili, music and more!

All proceeds of the event benefit the Steven G Cancer Foundation. The Steven G Cancer Foundation supports and advocates for adolescents and young adults as they journey through a cancer diagnosis, treatment and cure.

The 43 mile route travels past vineyards and farms on the beautiful quiet backroads of Ashtabula County. The route is flat and fast. Come and race your friends or simply ride and enjoy the scenery.

Red Eagle Gravel Grinder

The Red Eagle Gravel Grinder consists of three great rides: 43, 22.5 & 12 miles all on the quiet back roads of Ashtabula County. This event is a Fondo style ride, it's timed, with results but it is not a race. Ride it fast and rip up some gravel, or go slow and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Afterwards stay for the party, a free beer for each rider, a bowl of chili and music. All proceeds of the event benefit the Steven G. Cancer Foundation which supports and advocates for adolescents and young adults as they journey through a cancer diagnosis, treatment and a cure.
