About this event

The Rad Ride
Deep in the Southern Colorado plateau lies an untouched plethora of gravel unlike any other. The towering Spanish Peaks and expansive mesas serve as the backdrop for the 3 unique courses of The ‘Rad Dirt Fest. The courses are all more than 90% maintained, gravel roads and mostly rolling routes. It is all really scenic and unlike any other region in Colorado! Don’t be fooled though…the elevation and climbing will humble you, especially on the longer ride! We mean it when we say you’ll truly become one with nature out on these courses and see an abundance of wildlife! Jump in and see for yourself, it’s gonna be ‘Rad.

Qualify for UNBOUND Gravel
We’re handing out qualifier “coins” for UNBOUND Gravel to finishers of The Rad. Think Willy Wonka, but with bikes and more dusty goodness:
  • 50% Performance-Based: Half of the coins go to top riders in each category.
  • 50% Random Drawing: Half of the coins will be up for grabs in a random drawing. Everyone’s got a shot!
  • Distances: Winners will be able to register for either the UNBOUND Gravel 200 or 100 Mile distances.
Note: Winners will receive guaranteed entry to Life Time UNBOUND Gravel, this does not include the entry fee. Winners will be able to register for either the following year’s UNBOUND Gravel or the year after that. Once participation year is selected, winners will be subject to normal deferral rules.
