About this event

A unique gravel race with a truly spectacular event course to meet like-minded gravel grinders from all over Europe!

The desert of Gorafe and surroundings of Baza provide a spectacular environment for gravel riding and is considered by many as the most impressive location for gravel riding in Europe. 

SATURDAY | GORAFE EPIC
A spectacular track in the desert of Gorafe with more than 90% on perfect gravel roads and stunning views! You can choose between 165km +2800m and 110km +1600m.
  • Start and finish: Recinto Ferial, Baza
  • Departure time: 8am
  • Feed zones: Food and water stops during the route and a proper meal in the finish area.
  • Classification: Men & women (165km, 110km)
SUNDAY | JABALCÓN HILL CLIMB CHALLENGE
The event ends with a hill climb challenge at the breathtaking Jabalcón. The views all the way up are most likely some of the best you have ever seen on and off the bike. You can either directly come to the start of the hill climb or join a social ride from Baza to the start. Every 30 sec one rider, no predefined order. Afterwards you can meet us at the Embalse de Negretin, for a lake swim, beers and snacks. 
  • Start: Recinto Ferial, Baza, Andalusia
  • Start Ride: 9:30pm (social ride to the start of crono)
  • Start time Crono: 10 – 11:30am (every 30sec) 
  • Route: 45km (from Baza, go & return)
  • Hill climb challenge: 3km +250m
