We are three women, who loves sports and travelling. Andrea as a spin doctor, loves traveling with the bicycle all around the world, also together with Barbara and Andrea. Andrea did longer touring in Asia, South America as well as in Europe, but always organized by her own, means planning the routes and changing plans along them. Barbara motivated her to start on the Tuscany Trail in 2021. First rather skeptical, Andrea got in love with the new kind of traveling with luggage on frontside/backside and more cycling on an organized route with a lot of other people, making new friendships, having fun together and also be a bit in a competition. After participating 2022 on the Umbria Trail, joining a funny group of italians, the idea of the “Salt&Lake Trail” was born. Just settled to the area of the Salzkammergut and knowing the routes all around, a first draft of the route was created. Bringing Barbara and Andrea on board and founding together the “Not Only Women (NOW) Bikepacking team” was the next step to start this event. And NOW we are really looking forward to bring people from all around the world to our event and do our best to find and provide the best paths in the area combined with sightseeing and leisure.
