BSG 50 Mile starts in Red Lodge at 5555 Ft Elevation. The Beartooth Mountains make an amazing back drop while you take on fast descents and steep climbs. Stay an extra day or come early to ride the Beartooth Pass to top out at almost 11K feet elevation. Aid stations miles 8.5, 18, 36.

Lodging

As with all great events comes a good place to stay! Red Lodge is a small town with one main drag and most accommodations are going to be within walking and short riding distance. Our local accommodations can be found at Redlodge.com/stay  Start and finish will be next to local downtown accommodations including The Yodeler, just across the street from Old Roosevelt. Camping can be found nearby on Custer Gallatin or MT FWP site.

Big Sky Gravel

We live in Red Lodge, MT - where we ride bikes in the summer and ski in the winter. Red Lodge is home to the Beartooth Pass and surrounded by the Beartooth Mountains which provides amazing backroads for travel. Gravel roads connect many of our small communities, including many ranches along the way, hence, our mascot, a cow donning pink sunglasses.
