CHAFE150 Gravel

Sandpoint, ID, United States · Sandpoint Rotary

About this event

Established in 2008, the CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo is a premier charity cycling event in Sandpoint, Idaho, featuring a signature 150-mile road loop through the scenic Cabinet Mountains and lake valleys. We have added popular gravel routes in the last several years.

Organized by the Sandpoint Rotary, the ride offers various road and gravel routes for all skill levels supporting education and literacy in the Lake Pend Oreille School District. Over its history, the event has raised more than $1 million for local youth education programs and has been recognized as one of the top charity rides in the country.

ROAD RIDES
150, 80, 40 & 25 Mile Routes

The 150-mile route is a grand loop around the Cabinet Mountains-a frontal range of the Rocky Mountains of Idaho and Montana-through gorgeous lake and river valleys, encompassing one upriver leg, two downriver legs and one huge lake! In addition, CHAFE offers magnificent 80-, 40- and 25-mile road rides for any level.

GRAVEL RIDES
60 & 40 Mile Routes

The 40-mile and 60-mile gravel bike routes offer riders a scenic, adventurous journey through beautiful backroads, sharing the same starting and finishing points. The longer option challenges cyclists with an additional 20-mile extension through Jack Pine Flats before merging back into the main course. Ultimately, both routes promise an unforgettable day of riding that perfectly balances fun, scenery, and personal accomplishment.

WHEN YOU RIDE CHAFE, YOU’RE SUPPORTED.
CHAFE 150 supports riders with fully stocked break stops, professional ride support, an epic after ride party, and prizes for top fundraisers. Nurses, mechanics, and volunteers come together to make CHAFE the best ride you’ll ever experience!
