Cascade Gravel, June 2, 2024Cascade Gravel is one of the most scenic and diverse gravel events in the country. Located in Sisters, Oregon the event will provide an amazing ride through the Central Oregon high desert and Cascade Mountain Range. 

Average daily temps range between 60-80 degrees with temperatures dipping slightly as you ride up to higher elevations in the Cascade Mountain range. The Bend area is home to thousands of miles of remote gravel roads, where deer outnumber cars 10 to 1. June is a great time of year for experiencing the beauty of Central Oregon. The air is clear, the mountains still gleam with white snow and roads have minimal dust factor. Add to that great lodging rates and you have the perfect opportunity to enjoy Sisters.

Breakaway Promotions wants to make sure you can saddle up for this early-season gravel with something for every ride level with the 44-mile Small Gravel(great for first-time racers!), 66-mile Medium Gravel, and the 94-mile Big Gravel.

Categories include pro, open, junior, and masters. Awards go to the top three for each category. 
Registration includes; a Custom Pint Glass, Lunch, Custom T-Shirt, Beer, Fully Stocked Aid Stations located every 20-25 miles along the course, Well Marked and Amazing Courses, Chip Timing, and Mechanical Support!

The Fat Tire New Belgium Post-Ride Celebration will be at Village Green Park after the ride. Bring your appetite as Spin Catering will be providing everyone with an awesome lunch. There will be music, a beer garden, and games on hand to keep you entertained.

  • Friday’s Time Trail start is about a 20 min drive from the Premier Best Western Bend and about 50 minutes from downtown Sisters.
  • Saturday’s Bust Your Butte start is about a 30 min drive from the Premier Best Western Bend and about 60 minutes from downtown Sisters.
  • Sunday’s Three Creeks start is about a 25 min drive from the Premier Best Western Bend and about 2 minutes from downtown Sisters.
