About this event

Imagine you have just finished a days cycling on mint gravel backroads. You are tired but feel at peace as you enjoy a drink with your friends and family at the SteamPacket Hotel and watch the sunset.
You know a big feed is coming up and a sweet car camping setup awaits your weary bones. And the best thing is you get to do it all again tomorrow.

Day 2

This is the standard loop that most riders will attempt on Sunday. There will be another shorter route available. Note the registration fee of $225 includes:
  • 2 days of riding on some of the best champagne gravel roads in Australia
  • Your dinner Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning in a quaint country pub
  • Professional event pics from ReadyAimMedia
  • Entertainment Saturday night hosted by Michael Tomalaris
  • On course Feed zone and mechanical support
  • Fully insured event with approval from local council and authorities
  • Your own limited edition commemorative patch.
  • A huge cache of prizes kindly donated by our sponsors. Prizes will be allocated on a first entered, best prize basis. Enter earlier for the chance of a better prize!

Graveleur

Graveleur is a cycling community drawn together by one thing – back road exploring. Our purpose is to build Australia’s gravel community. This is a movement – not a race – it is about enjoying the ride and stopping occasionally to soak in the atmosphere. Graveleur is about the journey, not the destination. We encourage each other to explore gravel and unsealed roads across Australia to find new adventures and to see new places. Graveleur embraces this spirit of adventure and anyone is welcome to join. We run two events annually, Thunderbolts Adventure in Fall (1st weekend in May) and Clarkes Gambit in Spring (last weekend in October)
