Grinduro is back in 2024 and beautiful Mt. Shasta once again hosts this awesome party!

In short, Grinduro is just what the name suggests: gravel road race + mountain bike-style enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).

But Grinduro is not just a bike race. It’s a weekend long celebration of gravel cycling with as much emphasis on the fun as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art, an incredible bike expo, live music, camping, and a festival atmosphere.

SORA is inviting the public to get involved with Grinduro by volunteering. There are many fun volunteer opportunities available, including venue setup/teardown, course marshals, timing assistance, beer pourers, packet pickup, aid station support, podium helpers, and much more.

Volunteers who work at least six hours get some great perks for helping SORA pull this event together, including: free camping at the Grinduro venue, free event t-shirt, 2 free drink tickets, and free catered dinner on Saturday evening. Grinduro couldn’t happen without the help of volunteers.
