The Nibelungen Gravelride is a cycle tourism gravel bike event, no time is taken. The Nibelungen Gravelride is not a race! The route is completed via GPS track. Everyone rides alone, with their friends or spontaneously joins a group.
We recommend a gravel bike with disc brakes and a gear ratio that suits the route (e.g. 1x11 with a max. 42 ring and 10-42 cassette). The tires should be between 35 and 50 mm wide and profiled. Of course, a 650B tire will do, too. Tubeless is recommended. If you don't own a gravel bike, you can of course also compete with the MTB.
