NYCHTHEMERON - Beat the clock gravel race

NYCHTHEMERON is GRVL’s endurance challenge where you ride to complete a route against the clock, finishing faster than the suggested 12 or 24 hours depending on the route selected.

What is the NYCHTHEMERON?
NYCHTHEMERON takes its name from the ancient Greek word meaning ‘a complete day and night’.

This is not a race, it is a personal effort against time, terrain and fatigue, ridden on carefully designed gravel routes across the UK and beyond.

There are 34 routes to select from all over the UK and even a couple of routes in Italy.

The challenge structure is simple:

Choose a GRVL‑approved NYCHTHEMERON route (12hr or 24hr).
Share the challenge with 2 friends using hashtag #NYCHTHEMERON
Complete the route within a continuous 12‑hour or 24‑hour window.
Submit your Strava or Komoot activity to hello@grvl.cc for verification.
Each route has been meticulously planned to be completed in 12 or 24 hours
