About this event
100 miles, Full Hug, 100km (62miles) Half Hug and NEW in 2023 a 34 mile option we call the Handshake.
Each route has breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta and consists of about 50/50 gravel and pavement. The fast pavement sectors connect the ten challenging gravel sectors, including the infamous "Jeep Road.". The race is built like a spring classic with sectors of Northern California gravel in place of European cobblestones. This course stands out with it's rolling wide open roads and two major climbs totaling 4,700 feet of climbing. Race to win or win by riding your first century.
This race will be sanctioned by Oregon Bicycle Racing Association(OBRA). If you plan on racing several races under OBRA, then an annual membership can be purchased for $40. If this is your only race, a single day gravel license is available for $5.00.
$105 for all races except the 17 and under fields which are $60
I do plan on having the course marked but it would be a really good idea to have the route uploaded to your GPS device or a smart phone.
The race/ride will take place on open roads, so please be respectful to all road users, and absolutely no littering! Not even the little tab off the top of your gel.
Women’s 100 milers starts at 9am,
Race number pickup Friday from 5pm to Dark then Saturday morning at 7:30am till race start.
