About this event

The Dusty Bandita is a women's gravel bike race built to expand our presence in a male-dominated sport of bike racing, and to inspire ALL women to go beyond their limits, physically and mentally - dig deep, climb the big climbs, and take the inside line. Our goal is to instill the feeling of freedom and confidence while we ultimately broaden the field of women cyclists entering cycling events throughout the local area, state, nation and world.

Based of out Ovando, Montana in 2023

40 mi · ↗ 3,000 ft · 100% gravel · $135 entry

40-45ish mile route with about 3000 feet of climbing in the Ovando and Seeley area. Routes will be revealed via instagram, then on our website closer to the race date.

Route are subject to change for racer and volunteer safety pending snowpack, weather, etc.

80ish mile

80 mi · ↗ 5,000 ft · 100% gravel · $150 entry

80ish mile route +/- 5ish miles with about 5000-6000 feet of climbing in the Ovando and Seeley area. Routes will be revealed via instagram, then on our website closer to the race date.

Route are subject to change for racer and volunteer safety pending snowpack, weather, etc.

The Dusty Bandita

The Dusty Bandita is a women's gravel race in western Montana, outside of the Missoula area. Our goal is to expand our presence in a male-dominated sport of bike racing, and inspire ALL women to go beyond their limits, physically and mentally – dig deep, climb the big climbs, and take the inside line; Breathe in the crisp Montana air and leave our cares behind. We want to instill the feeling of freedom and confidence while we ultimately broaden the field of women cyclists entering cycling events throughout the local area, state, and nation. There is an 80ish mile (5000-6000' climbing) and 45ish mile (~3000' climbing) course, with post race food, drink, and amazing raffle prizes.
